A Flash of Inspiration 
I have to admit, the more I read this, the more I liked it. It makes me want to know more, but its simplicity makes me build the story in my own mind. Pretty compelling.
Also, your novel sounds great. I’m a big Zombie fan, so I may find myself reading it.
